The P2110.2 School Amplifier, as advertised, offers several notable features, along with some potential considerations.
Pros:1. **Powerful Output**: With a maximum power output of 1000W, this amplifier is capable of delivering high-volume sound, making it suitable for large classrooms or auditoriums.
2. **Built-in Protection Circuitry**: The amplifier features protection against short-circuits, overheating, and overcurrent, ensuring the safety of the equipment and users.
3. **Ease of Use**: The amplifier offers simple controls and settings, making it user-friendly, even for those without extensive audio knowledge.
4. **Versatile Inputs**: The P2110.2 comes with a variety of input options, including XLR, RCA, and Jack, allowing for multiple connection options.
Cons:1. **Weight**: At approximately 27 kg, the amplifier is quite heavy, which may pose challenges during installation and transportation.
2. **Power Consumption**: With a power consumption of 1100W at maximum output, this amplifier may lead to increased electricity bills and may require a powerful power supply.
3. **Size**: The amplifier is relatively large, which may require substantial space for installation.
4. **Potential for Distortion**: At high volume levels, the amplifier may produce some harmonic distortion, which could affect the quality of the sound.
Conclusion:The P2110.2 School Amplifier offers a powerful sound output, built-in protection, and versatile input options, making it an attractive choice for large educational settings. However, its weight, power consumption, size, and potential for distortion at high volumes are factors that should be carefully considered.
Recommendation:If the space, power supply, and budget allow, the P2110.2 School Amplifier could be a suitable choice for schools or auditoriums requiring high-volume sound. However, it's recommended to compare it with other similar products in the market to ensure it meets all your specific needs. Additionally, consider factors like warranty, customer service, and return policy before making a final decision.
Both original plugs included. Made in the USA 1997. It makes a bit more power than the P41 but its housed in smaller heat sink because it has two less channels. This is one of the rarer model's.
It is missing the little cap for 24db/12db slope control button. I would say that this is the sub woofer from P-Series line because they never made a mono Amplifier. Great overall cosmetic condition. Everything works wonderfully.
You can still push the button in and out like others. No chipping paint, no bubbling, rust. Its just a small black plastic cap thing that covers the end of button. This does not affect the functionality at all.
